No Waiting Period Health Insurance - Where can I find it?

Health insurance. Something we all need but something none of us really want to take the time to research, quote, buy, and then wait.  Wait for underwriting to complete. Wait for the benefits to kick in or just wait to receive the answers we are looking for.  There are solutions and they are easy.  We will outline a few ways to find no waiting period health insurance that will save you a lot of time and possibly fistfuls of hair.

First, gather all of the information you will need to get quotes.  You know you will need the usual name, address, and date of birth.  Make sure to have this for everyone you will need on your application.  Some other items you will want to know are medical conditions, surgeries, medications and dosages, as well as the facilities you used for any surgeries and about what month and year anything may have happened.  This can be difficult so educated guesses are permitted.

Secondly, have a cursory idea of a few things. Have in mind what your budget is. If you are going to buy health insurance you don't want to be cancelling it the next month because you bought more than you can afford. This may sound silly to you but many people do it or are talked into buying more than they need.  Also, have an idea of what benefits are on your "gotta have it" list.  If you MUST have doctors visits paid for be sure to voice that to whoever you speak with.

Finally, let a broker shop for you when you go to look for no waiting period health insurance.  They can shop the competition for you so you don't have to call, email, or quote several companies on your own.  They also know who will give you the best bang for your buck and they will be your intercessor if you ever have a problem.  Don't worry about being gouged on price by using a broker either.  Prices are set by state and a broker can not give you a better or worse price than going directly to a company.  You will also help a small business.
